About the Job - Customer Service & Sales Development Associate

Examzone, an early-stage startup that produces test prep materials & content for Securities Licensing Exams, has an exciting full-time opportunity for a versatile multi-faceted team player to do Customer Service, Inside Sales and learn Marketing.

The candidate will handle our customer inquiries, product digital media assets, drive and grow our lead generation process and nurture strategy through marketing automation, program design and development. In addition, this position has responsibility for measuring, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on campaign and digital marketing results as well as social media presence and publishing.

Responsibilities include:


Marketing Responsibilities


  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Track and analyze direct and interactive marketing campaigns
  • Report customer trends and summarize statistical data in user reports
  • Evaluate and optimize effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Carry out daily campaign processes, including start-to-finish scope
  • Schedule and coordinate text and creative content
  • Analyze campaigns for key metrics.
  • Maintain and update Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media sites to build and grow brand awareness

Customer Service Responsibilities


  • Create a positive first impression with our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media
  • respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • set up and manage new customer accounts

Sales Development Responsibilities


  • Up-Sell and Cross-Sell existing customers for Add-On Products via both Inbound and Outbound telemarketing campaigns
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence in following up on all inbound inquiries and marketing leads
  • Assist with researching trends in retail and identifying new prospects
  • Actively participate in and contribute to team learning opportunities and your own personal development
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is required
  • Min 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Strong desire to be in sales
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in Windows (Mac would be a +)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior inside sales experience a plus
  • Min 1+ years of corporate tele-sales experience
  • Experience in Financial Services industry a plus
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Digital Media Production Tools a plus – Adobe Creative Suite
  • CRM or Salesforce.com experience a plus
